Hi, I’m Trey; I’m a Lead Software Engineer focused on software infrastructure, cybersecurity, observability, and building reliable systems at enterprise scale. I spend my free time running a home lab, experimenting with new technologies, slowly getting more comfortable breaking things to learn to fix them, and I’ve decided to start documenting what I learn along the way.

Outside of technology, I’m a new dad, a LEGO enthusiast, a lover of science fiction and fantasy, a budding photographer, an avid single-player gamer, and an aspiring D&D DM. This site will be used as a digital garden where I will have notes, projects, lessons learned, future plans, and the occasional writeup of some CTF I’ve recently participated in.

Expect to see thoughts related to cybersecurity, engineering, homelabbing, parenting, cooking/baking, photography, space, and honestly anything else that I might fixate on or find interesting.
